A Hall sensor from the TinkerKit range that, when connected via a TinkerKit shield to an Arduino board, outputs a voltage proportional to the detected magnetic field around the sensor. The sensor can be used to detect electrical fields or even biologically generated magnetic fields, such as a human body or animal.
The Hall sensor is mounted on a standard TinkerKit board that also contains a signal amplifier and LED indicators.
